…..Ibrahim (A.S.) relied on HIM. And HE
granted safety.
…..Musa (A.S.) asked HIM to separate the
sea. And HE separated the sea.
Ask HIM what you want! He will
grant you!
….but will he ??!!! Ask yourself!
People imagine they are unworthy of
asking. Yet they ask in the name of different people – this is where they
demonstrate their unworthiness!
They ask everybody except themselves or
their LORD!
There have been people who levitated,
people who walked through walls, people who left their bodies….
I have never seen anybody walk through
walls – and I don’t suggest anyone to try it. Nor do I think we should jump off
buildings – its not good for health.
That man fell to his death not because
he could not have flown if he was coming from the right State of Being but
because he could never have demonstrated GODLINESS by trying to show himself as
separate from HIM
Let me explain….
The man on the building lived in a world
of self-delusion in which he imagined himself to be other than man. By declaring “I am GOD” he began his demonstration
with a lie. He hoped to make himself separate… more larger…. More powerful.
It was an act of his ego.
Ego – as long as it exists – can never
duplicate or demonstrate that which is
ONE !
By seeking to
demonstrate that he was God, the man on the building demonstrated only his
separateness, not his union. Thus, he sought to demonstrate Godliness by
demonstrating Ungodliness! And failed!
Ambiya and Awliya, on the other hand
demonstrated Godliness by demonstrating Unity – and seeing Unity and Wholeness
wherever (and upon whomever) they looked.
In this, their Consciousness, and HIM, were one, and in such a state
whatever they called forth was made manifest in their Devine Reality in that
Holy Moment.
